SePRO Total Pond - Emerge is a systemic herbicide designed to control nuisance vegetation such as cattails, broadleaf weeds, and grasses along shorelines, rivers, streams, docks, and ditch banks. The active ingredient is glyphosate (N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine, isopropylamine salt) at a concentration of 53.8%. This product is absorbed through the leaves and moves into the root system to provide a complete kill, including the roots. It is intended for use in aquatic environments where weeds are emerged and actively growing. For best results, apply foliage coverage during spring, summer, or fall when weeds are actively growing. The product should be mixed with water and an added non-ionic surfactant to improve efficacy. Users should avoid spraying desirable plants to prevent injury. Note that the product will not move in soils to untreated plants, but wilting and yellowing will occur within 5-7 days. When applying near potable water intakes, specific restrictions apply regarding the timing of turning off the intake. Always follow all safety precautions, including wearing appropriate PPE, and ensure the product is used according to label directions to avoid legal misuse.
