SePRO Total Pond - React is an all-purpose aquatic weed control designed for use in ponds, lakes, and reservoirs. The active ingredient is diquat dibromide (37.3%), which works by interfering with photosynthesis to control unwanted floating, emergent, and submerged aquatic weeds. It is effective against a variety of species including duckweed, cattails, bladderwort, Brazilian elodea, coontail, and water lettuce. The product can be applied via foliar spray for targeting floating/emergent weeds or via surface spray/injection for submerged weeds. For submerged weeds, the application rate depends on the average water depth, ranging from 3/4 oz. to 3 oz. per gallon of water for depths between 2 and 8 feet. Users should add a non-ionic surfactant to the spray tank to improve efficacy. Handling requires specific personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear (goggles, face shield, or safety glasses), long-sleeve shirts, long pants, shoes plus socks, and waterproof gloves. It is critical to wash hands and clothing thoroughly after handling. The product is not for use in drinking water or for irrigation of food crops/ornamentals during certain restriction periods. Always consult local authorities regarding permit requirements before application.
