Voliam Flexi is an insecticide used for the control of listed insect pests in specified crops. It contains two active ingredients: Thiamethoxam (20.0%) and Chlorantraniliprole (20.0%). The product is a water-dispersible granule. It is intended for use in commercial and farm plantings only; it is not for use in homes, greenhouses, or on plants grown for transplanting. It should not be applied to crops grown from thiamethoxam-treated seed. In New York State, specific restrictions apply regarding sales and application limits. This product is highly toxic to wildlife and aquatic invertebrates, including oysters and shrimp. It is also highly toxic to bees and other insect pollinators; users must follow specific application restrictions to protect pollinators, such as avoiding application while bees are foraging or when flowers are blooming. Handling requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including long-sleeved shirts, long pants, socks, shoes, and chemical-resistant gloves. Users should wash hands before eating, drinking, or using tobacco, and remove contaminated clothing immediately.
